Our Community
Welcome to the Reserve of Elgin, located on the west side of Elgin, Illinois. We are a community of townhomes adjacent to forest preserve land that features native prairies and wetlands. The unique bio-diversity affords our residents an opportunity to live, relax and enjoy surroundings that pace themselves by nature's cycles rather than the hustle of the nearby urban zone.
Current News / January 13, 2025: The periods of snowfall over the weekend amounted to far less than the 2" required by the snow contract for plowing. Unfortunately, the temperature rose sufficiently on Sunday to cause some melting, which has since refrozen. This morning the HOA ordered salt for the roads and driveways to address the situation and will continue to monitor conditions.
Update / January 14, 2025: There was another dusting of snowfall about 7 am, but again not enough to trigger plowing. The HOA has ordered another round of salt on the roads and drives throughout the community.
